Rotaract Roundtrips

Rotaract Roundtrips are amazing experiences available for all Rotaractors around the world. Trips can be organised by one club in a city, or clubs within a region, a district, or even a whole country (such as Indonesia Roundtrip).

Typically applications are opened approximately 2/3 months before the event. Interested Rotaractors apply and a lucky few are chosen based on the strength of their application. The trips can be between 4 days to 14 days and typically have a minimal cost which covers food, accommodation, transport and all events and activities - $100-$400 is usual.

These trips are an amazing way to connect with international Rotaract clubs who are hosting you, as well as the international trippers who may be travelling with you.

Tips

Co-ordinate with your clubs to organise:

  • A Program of events in the morning, afternoon and night
  • Fundraising through your club/district/sponsor club.
  • Accomodation can be with homes of Rotaractors, Rotarians, or at the local hostel
  • Food can be simple, such as sandwiches, or bbqs.
  • Special events during the trip such as meetings at Rotary clubs
  • an End of Trip party where you can invite all clubs and Rotarians to come meet your international guests
  • Set up a facebook page
  • Work with local Rotarians to find amazing experiences and resources to use
  • Give at least 4 weeks after the applications have been chosen for visa applications
