Professional Development Collection

The purpose of this portal to serve as a master collection of professional development and leadership building articles and documents designed to grow Rotaractors as leaders in both business and community service.

Professional Development

Professional Development is a cornerstone of the Rotaract program, and one of the main differences between traditional service clubs and Rotaract. That is, Rotaract is one of the only service organizations for young professionals that enables college students and working professionals from ages 18 to 30 to do service to their humanity, and help build themselves professionally and as future leaders of Rotary.

Committees

Professional Development and Leadership Development are major avenues of Rotaract, and often can become too taxing on a single person to plan for. That's why we recommend that you create a committee for Professional Development. This committee can be chaired by the officer in charge of professional development in your club. It allows for your members--especially the older ones who have more business experience--to bring in their expertise to the table.
