Rotaractor Wiki's mission is to be an online historical archive and library of Rotaract around the world. You are invited to participate in this non-profit project powered by dedicated Rotaractors giving back to the future of Rotaract.

Using the Wiki
|

On Usernames
This wiki is meant as a peer-to-peer resource for Rotaractors around the world. We ask that ALL Wiki users use their actual name for their usernames. Shortening your last name (i.e. JohnS or JohnSm) will also suffice. Numbers are absolutely NOT allowed in usernames! As of January 23, 2013 we have re-enabled automatic account creation. (No more manual approval.) We may bring back manual approval again later; we are researching some bugs with the manual approval system.
Community Guidelines
Since all users are allowed to edit all public pages, it is important that we each treat each other with respect and dignity. Personal attacks, flames, trolling, spam, and other wiki crimes will not be tolerated. For a full list of rules, please consult the Community Guidelines.

Upcoming Deadlines
The deadlines for the Rotaract Outstanding Project Award and the 2012-13 Presidential Citation for Rotaract Clubs have passed, but RotaractorWiki would like to give a huge shout out and congratulations to the Rotaract Club of the Caduceus on being the winner of this year's Rotaract Outstanding Project Award! Happy World Rotaract Week everyone! Quick update: as an effort to combat the ongoing spambots that keep meddling in our affairs, we've enabled email confirmation protocols for all accounts--including existing ones. You will find that you now need to validate your email before you can edit any page; this applies to existing users as well! To confirm your email, just go to your user preferences and request to send a confirmation email to yourself. This will send you an email with a validation link. We have been getting a lot of new visitors and entries over the past few days, ever since we started publicizing our new goal of adding EVERY Rotaract club in existence to the wiki by late June! To help ease the account creation process we have re-enabled automatic account creation process. Now you don't have to wait for a moderator/admin to approve you! We disabled the manual process because of error reports. We are still investigating this issue, and may bring back manual account approval sometime in the future. Happy belated new year, Rotaractors! I know we've hit a bit of a dry period in terms of updates for this Wiki, but we have some exciting news for you! With the new Rotary year coming upon us in a mere six months, we have a new Rotary theme that you can read all about! You can also find a quick blurb about our RI President Elect Ron Burton. And even MORE exciting news? We're making it our goal to list all 9,000+ Rotaract Clubs in the world on this Wiki before the RI Convention in Lisbon. These aren't going to be complete pages, but merely Stubs, which means that we need your help to make them complete! We'll start the article off for you, but you need to finish it! We've already got District 1010 up and are making our way through the rest. If we haven't gotten to your club yet and you're itching for a page, feel free to create one on your own! :) Just follow the Model Rotaract Club Page if you have no idea how to start or message one of the admins.
